How the PAScript Process Works
PAScript’s innovative technology recognizes a non covered medication as soon as it is attempted on a health plan, or pharmacy. The process of initial claim identification is possible because PAScript is fully integrated with Pharmacy Benefit Managers. Being fully integrated drastically increases the speed of the enrollment process. This allows patients to start medication treatment shortly after the prescription is written.
Our process is time-efficient with a priority to ensure the patient has access to medication treatment as soon as possible.
Initiating Contact
PAScript will immediately reach out to a patient when a non-covered prescription is identified. Once communication is established a patient care coordinator will conduct a brief introductory call with the patient, and the process of PAP enrollment begins.
Accessing Programs
Patient assistance programs have varying requirements for access. PAScript care coordinators are knowledgeable on enrollment requirements for a broad range of PAP programs. Once approved, patients are typically enrolled for 12 months and will receive their prescribed medication directly from the manufacturer or a partner pharmacy, often at a $0 out-of-pocket cost.
Follow Up
Even after enrollment, an individually assigned patient care coordinator continues to follow up to ensure patient satisfaction and medication adherence throughout treatment.
